In 2004, Luc Besson noticed Florent's first short film, "Touché Par La Grace," featuring Rachid Djaidani and Philippe Nahon.
This dark and brilliant work became part of Europacorp's project "Zero Two." 

Subsequently, in 2008, Florent directed the intense "Redrum," starring Sara Forestier and Audrey Marnay,
a visually striking film showcased at the 2008 Gérardmer Fantastic Film Festival.

Finally, Florent tackled the tragic theme of teenage drug addiction in his short film "Bad Rush."
